With over 50 years of experience in training and handling field dogs, Gene brings unmatched expertise to every canine he works with. For the past 45 years, he and his wife have successfully trained numerous pointing, flushing, and retrieving gun dogs—including champions in both Horseback and Walking Field Trials.

Canyon View Kennels is nestled in the scenic Sonoran Desert at the base of the Coronado National Forest. Most of our field training takes place in the expansive, rolling grasslands of Sonoita, Arizona—an ideal environment offering diverse vegetation, cover, and terrain.
